Wendell Ricardo Jemmott of Orange Hill, St. James and formally of Church Gap, Hillaby, St. Thomas entered peacefully into rest at age 56.  Acting Sargeant 281 of the Royal Barbados Police Force.

Husband of Karen Browne-Jemmott (National Cultural Foundation).

Son of the late Marva Jemmott and Elson Forde.

Father of Andre and Kent Jemmott, Sanita Lowe and M’Kenzie Haynes.

Grandson of Eunice Forde.

Brother of Ron and Edwin Forde.

Nephew of Irene and St. Elmo Jemmott, Orville Forde, Sandra Maynard, Andrea Davis, Sandra Harris, Vincent Seales and Clifford Maycock.

Cousin of Maureen, Harriett, Emmerson, Caswell, Graydon, Euclid and Hallam Jemmott (of the R.B.P.F.), Cheryl Nicholls, Clive Grant, Trevor Patrick, Shelly Simms, Marcia Springer, Moreen Webster, Karey and Mark Forde and Karen Clarke-Worrell.

Relative of the Jemmott, Forde, King and Gill families.

Friend of Kevin Bullen, Keith Griffith, Sylvester Francis, Anderson Griffith, Ethan Griffith, Charles Holder, Sharon Inniss, Peter Small, Rudolph Marshall and the members of the Royal Barbados Police Force.

The funeral of the late Wendell Ricardo Jemmott leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Thursday, October 11th at 11:00 a.m. for St. Thomas Parish Church, St. Thomas where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 1:00 p.m.  The cortege will then proceed to St. James Cemetery for the interment with full military honors.  The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.

Relatives and friends can visit in the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect the memories of Wendell Ricardo Jemmott from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10th.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
