It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Our Loving Mother Beryl Ornesta Walkes in the 79 years. 1944-04-23 – 2024-04-02, late of Maynards Housing Area,St. Peter.


Predeceased by her husband Decourcey Walkes.
Daughter of Alan and Eudora Skeete (Deceased).
Sister of Marva Collins and 4 others (Deceased).
Mother of Beverley Gibbs, Kathy-Anne Walkes (Deceased), Rosemary Walkes, Desary Walkes,
Shelly Ann Walkes, Yette Inniss and Seth Walkes.
Grandmother of Obrian Gibbs, Kimberley Gibbs, Brianna Gibbs, Antonio Corbin, Leah-Rose
Cumberbatch, Jaide Inniss, Christian Inniss, Kay-Anne Belgrave, Michael Walkes and Kera Walkes.
Aunt of 15.
Cousins of many.
Mother in-law of Stevenson Gibbs and Matthew Inniss.
Friend of Ms. Eastmond, Joyce Belgrave, Martin Belgrave, Leroy Cumberbatch and Kareene Ishmael
and Magna Maynard and the Mile and a Quarter SDA Church family.
Relative of The Skeete, Rocks, Griffith, Jackman and Bowen families.

The funeral of the late Beryl Walkes leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy on
Thursday April 18 th , 2024 at 8:00 a.m. for Mile and A Quarter Seventh-day Adventist Church,
Hopeland, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at
10:00 a.m.
The funeral will then proceed to New Haven Lawns, Mount Pleasant, Pleasant Hall, St. Peter for the
interment.

Yellow and White are the colours requested to be worn by the family.

Relatives and friends can visit the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect
on the memories of Beryl Walkes from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Thursday.
