Veronica Victoria Walker, affectionately known as ‘Vonnie or Nana’ of Indian Ground, St. Peter entered peacefully into rest at Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, June 27th, 2021.  Former employee of Port St. Charles Development.

Daughter of Beulah and Eric Mayers.  Mother of Rasheda Worrell.  Grandmother of Darian Worrell and Jamari Moore.  Sister of Brenda Walker, Cora Mekkonn, Cathyan Benn and the late Linda Walker.  Aunt of Trimaine Walker, Shaquille Benn, Hannah Mekkonn and the late Sharese Walker.  Sister-in-law of John Benn and Theodros Mekkonn.  Relative of the Walker, Springer, Mayers and Ramsey families. Friend of Trevor Bullen, Saungene Greaves, Angela Hope and many others.

The funeral of the late Veronica Victoria Walker leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Thursday, July 8th at 12 noon for St. Peter’s Parish Church, Church Street, Speightstown, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 2:00 p.m.  The cortege will then proceed to St. Peter’s Cemetery for the interment.  The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.  Mourning colors are optional.  Live streaming can be viewed via the link https://inlovingmemory.online/VeronicaWalker  .
