Valerie Alicia Forde, of Harrison’s Tenantry, St. Lucy, entered peacefully into rest at age 66.

General Worker of National Conservation Commission (NCC). Member of the North Stars Cultural and Sports Club.

Daughter of the late Alda Forde and Reinsfred Lashley.

Mother of Quincy Forde (SSA), Lisa Babb (CXC) and Larry Babb (TBPS).

Grandmother of Sharika Harris, Ebony, Marcus and Jahmali Lovell, Izekiel Forde, Reina Chase and Brenin Babb.

Sister of Sylvia Bishop, Frank, Magna, John, Jeffrey, Madeline, Adwin and Eddison Forde and the late Eleanor Armstrong.

Aunt of Shawn, Keela, Keisha, Marcelle and many many others.

Cousin of Floline Burrows, Alvena Forde and many others.

Mother-in-law of Latoya Moore.

Sister-in-law of Roseline and Caroline Forde and the late Elsie Prescod.

The funeral of the late Valerie Alicia Forde leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half

Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Friday, June 16th, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. for the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Hall, St. Peter where relatives and friends areasked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 2:00 p.m.

The funeral will then proceed to New Haven Lawns, Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens for the

interment.
