Theresa Edward of Storehouse Gap, Mount Standfast, St. James entered peacefully into rest at age 72.  

Daughter of Mary Magdalene. Mother of Cynthia, Trevor and Francis Edward.  Grandmother of Samantha, Khanasha, Kemar, Adino, Javon, Jadan, Leah, Trevon and Keven Edward, Kevin and Swain Edwards, Danisha, Daquon and Danika Edward-Taitt, Tyra Wooding, Damian Maynard, Ranacko Clark, Qasim Richards, Ashton Gill, Daveson Joseph, Danisha Collins and the late Gavin Edward.  Great Grandmother of Chadique Arthur, Qasjerrique and Skyla Edward, Qaszanna Richards, Kemara Husbands and Dream-Dior Taitt. Adopted Mother of Marica MarCalin.  Sister of Lucy Edwards Austin, Christine JR Baptiste, Marcelle Thompson, Esther Joseph, Ann Marie Edward, Leona Hippolite, Andrea Skinner, Thomas Edwards, Paul Lenus, the late Foreal, William and Tennesene Edwards.  A Loving Aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Mother-in-law of Joseph Cherry.  Friend of Petra Flavius, Clement Armstrong, Akeil Collins, ‘Scant’, ‘Oats’, Roslin Camble, ‘Caferine’, Vilma Materine and Khanish Williams.

The funeral of the late Theresa Edward leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Saturday, November 21st at 11:00 a.m. for St. Francis of Assisi, Mount Standfast, St. James where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 1:00 p.m.  The cortege will then proceed to St. James Cemetery for the interment.  

Relatives and friends can visit in the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect the memories of Theresa Edward from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. 

All COVID-19 protocols will be in effect with 65 persons allowed to attend the service in the church.  The physical distancing of 3 feet will apply to persons at the graveside.
