Sylvesta Oscar Britton, also known as “Brickstone” of Oxnard’s Road, Waterman’s Village, St. James, entered peacefully into rest at age 77.

Son of Meta Britton.

Father of Charles Maynard, Ketra Davis and Nicole Daniel (Ministry of Health and Wellness).

Step Father of Desmond Maynard (Canada).

Grandfather of Keimee Lopez, Chad Walker, Christon Davis, Rebecca, Santiago, Manny and Jenna Maynard, Nathan and Rannee Daniel and Sharefah Hunte.

Brother of Grace Alexander, Ivan, Phylis and the late Stephen Britton.

Nephew of the late Hilda King, Gerald, Ainsley and Darnley Britton.

Uncle of Shelly Britton, Tammy Nicholls, Suzanne Edwards, Jason, Troy and Andre Alexander and Curtis and Kai Britton (Canada).

The funeral of the lateSylvesta Oscar Britton leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Saturday, July 1st, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. for Western Light Church of the Nazarene, Oxnards, St. James where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 10:00 a.m.

The funeral will then proceed to St. James Cemetery for the interment.

Relatives and friends can visit the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect on the memories of Sylvesta Oscar Britton from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.
