Rodney Devere Yearwood, also known as “Moose”, “Couple” or “Bruno” of Farm Tenantry, St. Peter entered peacefully into rest at age 63 years.  Former employee of Dacosta Mannings.

Companion of Deborah Boyce. 

Son of the late Gwendolyn and Alson Worrell.

Father of Tanya Hurley, Dionne Campbell, Sheika, Katrina and Shamar Kellman and Denisha Collymore.

Grandfather of Tionna and Tarique Hurley, T’niya Thompson, Ashia Campbell, Kyara Kellman, Kyree Breedy and Ka’miyah Waithe.  

Great–Grandfather of Shakiya Hurley, Damani King and Keonte Archibald.   

Brother of Charles, Sonia, Alvin and Trevor Yearwood, Juliet Williams, Marcelle and Wayne Worrell and the late Nigel Harris.

Step-Brother of Nigel and Andria Worrell.

Nephew of Harriet Kirton, Jan Brown and the late Pearl Weithers and Muriel White.

Uncle of Chanse Worrell, Christopher and Justine Yearwood, Noel Harris, Dario and Jelani Yearwood, Tattieanna, Tiffany and Tara Downes.

Cousin of Junior Armstrong, Angela, Marilyn, Tony, Gwen, Theodore and Vince and many others.

Brother-in-law of Yvonne Headley-Yearwood.

Relative of the Yearwood, Worrell, White, Weithers and Armstrong families.

The funeral of the late Rodney Devere Yearwood leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Thursday, May 26th, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. for Mile-And-A-Quarter Seventh Day Adventist Church, Hopeland, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 1:30 p.m.

The funeral will then proceed to St. James Cemetery, Cemetery Lane, Sunset Crest, St. James for the interment.

There is to be No mourning colours by special request.

Relatives and friends can visit the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect on the memories of Rodney Devere Yearwood from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. 

All Covid-19 protocols will be in effect.
