Owen McDonald Benn, also known as “Mauser” of 1st Avenue Free Hill, Black Rock, St. Michael formerly of Rose Hill, St. Peter entered peacefully into rest at age 75 on February 23, 2022, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Director of S.B.O. Maintenance, former employee of Bartel and Member of Exotic Steel Orchestra.
Husband of Stacia Smart-Benn.
Son of the late Unis and Muriel Benn.
Father of Roderick Richards, Lindanny Benn and the late Matthew Omar Richards.
Step-father of Gwen Blenman, Reynold and Omar Smart.
Grandfather of nine.
Great–Grandfather of one.
Brother of Mendelle, Ricky, Rawle and Marrio Benn, Iola Husbands, and the late Charles and Orville Gilkes; Lloyd, Jasmay and Anderson Benn, Junifer Goodridge and Mayverne Hope.

Great–Uncle of Tonya Boyce.

The funeral of the late Owen McDonald Benn leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Friday, March 11th, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. for All Saints Anglican Church, Pleasant Hall, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 4:00 p.m.
The organist is kindly asked to attend.
A donation in aid of the Cancer Support Services will be collected.
Relatives and friends can visit the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect the memories of Owen McDonald Benn from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
