Ormond Erwin Murray, affectionately known as “The Carpenter” of Pilgrim Road, Christ Church entered peacefully into rest on March 9th, 2023 at age 57.  Former employee of Caribbean Air Craft Handling.

Beloved Husband of Sonia Lashley-Murray (Treasure Beach Hotel).

Son of Mary “Ardell’’ Murray and the late Ronald Murray.

Father of Akeisha Murray (Massy Card Barbados Limted), Armani Murray (USA) and Amario Murray (Caribbean Aircraft Handling).

Step-father of Dwayne Lashley.                                                                                                      .

Grandfather of Mariah Phillips.

Brother of Marcus James (St.Vincent), Oscar Murray and Sarah Brummel (both of the USA) and Christopher Murray (Crystal Cove Hotel).

Nephew of Livingston, Debra, Frederick and John James, Laura and Valcie Samuels and seven others (all of the USA).

Uncle of eight.

Cousin of many of the USA.

Father-in-law of Mario Phillips (Estem Logistics).

Son-in-law of Alston and Laurine Lashley.

Brother-in-law of Anthony and Wayne Lashley.

Friend of Nurse Heather Drakes (Ward B6), Jackie Jones, Cecile Rowe, Tracey and Richard Browne, Andrew Oneal, Laurell Sealy, Christopher Chandler, Mark Seales, Anderson Skeete, Junior Shepherd, Charles Brathwaite, Miranda Lowe, Darrien Holder and many others too numerous to mention.

The funeral of the late Ormond Erwin Murray leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Wednesday, March 29th, 2023 at 12:00 noon for Restoration Ministries, Gunsite Road, Brittons Hill, St. Michael,where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 2:00 p.m.

The funeral will then proceed to Christ Church Cemetery for the interment.
