Martin Laval Rock, of 2nd Avenue, Rockley, Christ Church and formerly of Cave Hill, St. Lucy, entered peacefully into rest on Thursday, June 15th, 2023  at age 79.

Retired Employee of Roberts Manufacturing Co. Ltd.

Beloved Husband of Mary Rock (Joyce).

Son of Edna Rock and the late Astley Rock.

Father of Melannie Rock (U.K).

Brother of Barbara Phillips, Pat Rock-Weekes, Dr. Letnie Rock, Listiel ( Anderson), Donaldson and Steve Rock and the late Maria Rock- Daniel.

Nephew of Winifred, Denzil, Joyce, Sheila, Euraline and the late Marva Stuart.

Uncle of Neyz, Julia, Xeco, Danielle, Kristen, Maryse, Ryan, Reanna, Deidre and Sophia.

Great-Uncle of five.

Cousin of  Gola, Bryan, Ellery, Harlow, Valcina, David, Jewel, David Workman, Sherma, Ingrid, Anthony, Philmore, Salene, Valerie Worrell, Winston Beckles and the late Tony Sandiford.

Brother-in-law of Anderson Weeks, Lorenzo Daniel, Juliet and Betty Rock, and Marjorie Charles (St.Lucia).

Relative of the Rock, Coombs, Griffith and Caddle families.

Friend of Thelma Boyce, Grethel Payne, Veneta Caddle, Liz, Rosalind, the staff of Roberts Manufacturing Co. Ltd and The Cave Hill Seventh-day Adventist Church.

The funeral of the lateMartin Laval Rock leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Wednesday, June 28th, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. for Mile and A Quarter Seventh-day Adventist Church, Hopeland, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 2:00 p.m.

Tributes will commence at 1:30 p.m.

The funeral will then proceed to New Haven Lawns Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens for the interment.

The Body will repose for viewing at the Cave Hill Seventh-day Adventist Church, Cave Hill, St. Lucy to reflect on the memories of Martin Laval Rock from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
