Major John Anderson Kellman Bsc. E.D. DIP. ED, of # 6 Sweet Home Gardens, Road View, St. Peter entered peacefully into rest on 12 April, 2023 at age 60.  Teacher of the Lodge School and former Battalion Commander and Officer of Barbados Cadet Corps.

Devoted Husband of Sandie Field-Kellman 0.B.E.

Son of the late Olga Kellman and George Kellman (former Inspector of Police).

Father of Kareem Kellman.

Stepfather of Ayana Sejour .

Grandfather of Jaidan and Jason Kellman.

Brother of Ronald Kellman, Judy St. John and the late Lloyd Kellman and Antony Kellman.

Uncle of Melissa, Rodney, Michelle and Adrian Kellman, Marky and Gail St. John.

Cousin of Denis Kellman and many others.

Brother-in-law of Margaret Kellman, Mark St. John, Michelle Cumberbatch, Judith Field-Gray, Deborah and Marleiza Best, Jamelle Best–Narine and Susanne McGrath.

Special Friend of Ryan Sejour, Dermot Gray and and the late Ronald Cumberbatch.

Friend of the members of Barbados Cadet Corps, teachers of the Lodge School and the Sunset Toastmasters Club of Barbados.

The funeral of the late Major John Anderson Kellman leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Saturday, May 6th, 2023 at7:30 a.m. for St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Cathedral, Bay Street, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 10:00 a.m.

Tributes will commence at 9:15 a.m.

The Cortege will then proceed to Military Cemetery, Needhams Point, St. Michael for the interment.

The body will repose for viewing on Thursday 4th May, 2023 at The Main Guard, Garrison, St. Michael from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 4:00 p.m. onFriday.
