Joan Diana Maurita Worrell, of Ashton Hall, St. Peter, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 6th, 2023 at age 76.  Faithful member of Mile and A Quarter Seventh-day Adventist Church and Retired Ancillary Worker of The Alexandra School.

Wife of the late Carmichael Worrell.

Daughter of the late Dudley and Mildred Rudder.

Loving Mother of Roger Worrell, Sheryllyn Welch-Payne and Ardith Headley (Sagicor Life Inc).

Doting Grandmother of Anya and Shanice Worrell, Rosher Welch-Payne, Ajani and the late Adrian Omari Headley.

Great-Grandmother of Aryn Brathwaite.

Sister of Althea (Mary) Marshall, Monica Rudder and the late Oliver and Trevor Rudder.

Aunt of Margaret Reid, Dale Foster, Marlin Griffith, Karen Ward, Rickey Ramsay, Inga King, Rene, Korey, Trevor, Wayne and Marcia Rudder.

Cousin of many.

Mother-in-law of Roger Welch-Payne and Adrian Headley.

Sister-in-law of Denzil Worrell.

Adoptive mother of Sharon Payne, Katrina Nicholls and Sherah Sydney

The funeral of the lateJoan Diana Maurita Worrell leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Tuesday, 20th June, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. for Mile and A Quarter Seventh-day Adventist Church, Hopeland, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 2:00 p.m.

Tributes will commence at 1:30 p.m.

The funeral will then proceed to Casuarina Lawns, Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens for the interment.

Mourning colours are optional.

Relatives and friends can visit the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect on the memories of Joan Diana Maurita Worrell from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
