Jean Yvette McCarthy nee Husbands, of 128 Maycock’s Development, St. Lucy, entered peacefully into rest on March 15th, 2023. Retired Nurse Aid of Bayview Hospital and devoted member of the Salvation Army Speightstown Corps.

Wife of Sylvester McCarthy

Daughter of the late Evelyn Husbands and Cleveland Thornhill.

Loving Mother of Paula and Sangene Husbands and Paul McCarthy.

Cherished Grandmother of Shaniyah and Shakiah Husbands, Kaiden McCarthy and

Kemani Husbands – McBurnie.

Sister of Yvonne and Patricia Husbands, Marlene Clarke, Diane Husbands Brown,

Shirley Cadogan, Anthony, Mark, Steven and the late Gline Husbands (UK).

Niece of Sheila, Everton and Hallam Husbands.

Aunt of many.

Cousin of many.

Mother-in-law of Kirt Cumberbatch.

The funeral of the late Jean Yvette McCarthy nee Husbands, leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Wednesday, 12th April, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. for The Chapel of Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Hall, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 2:00 p.m.

Relatives and friends can visit in the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, to reflect the memories of Jean Yvette McCarthy nee Husbands from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on  Tuesday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than11:30 a.m. on Wednedsay. Funeral arrangements entrusted to IRG Funerals Incorporated.
