Holman Mortimer Searles, of Trents, St. James and formerly of (Harrow UK), entered peacefully into rest at age 90.

Husband of the late Violet (Jean) Nee Nicholls.

Son of the late Elise Lillian Searles and Sydney Mortimer Francis.

Father of Rev. Egan Mortimer Bovell (USA), Cheryl Byfield and Davis Searles (both of the UK).

Grandfather of Zoey and Emma Byfield (both of the UK), Christopher, Kerri and Kristin (all of the USA).

Great-grandfather of 6.

Brother of Alma and Hillman Dacosta Searles, Eileen Francis, Wayne Rowe and the late Evelyn Searles.

Uncle of Catherine, Mark and Patrick Searles.

Great-uncle of Conner, Kiera, Sachel, Shanice and Kadeem Searles.

Cousin of Wycliffe Phillips and many others.

Father-in-law of Felcia (USA), Barrington and Jacqui Elliott (both of the UK).

Relative ofthe Searles, Francis, Williams, Payne, Holder, Hope and the Clarke families of Bridgefield, St. Thomas.

Friend of Herbert Prescod.

The funeral of the late Holman Mortimer Searles leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Monday, March 27th, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. the Chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge Christ Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 11:00 a.m.

The Cremation will follow immediately after.
