Glindon Alson Edwards, also known as “Zallas” of White Hall, St. Peter, entered peacefully into rest on Tuesday, June 21st, 2022 at age 66.  Retired architect of Town and Country Planning Department.

Loving Husband of Angela Edwards (Retired Principal of Hillaby/Turner’s Hall Primary School).

Son of the late Christopher and Jasmine Edwards.

Devoted Father of Kirk Edwards (former West Indies & Barbados Cricketer) and Kara Edwards (Yello Media Group).

Dedicated Grandfather of Senevaeh Edwards.

Brother of Alverton and Grantley Edwards (both of the UK), Earl, Baldwin and Denis Edwards and the late Alvena Rosemay.

Nephew of Carmen Worrell.

Uncle of David and Richard Edwards (both of the UK), Claire Jordan, Dionne Doughlin, Merlon, Rommell, Gregg and Denise Edwards and the late Sheldon Edwards.

Cousin of Elvis Edwards and Rev. John Garry Edwards.

Father-in-law of Sheena Warner-Edwards (Ministry of Health & Wellness)

Son-in-law of Joycelyn Mahon.

Brother-in-law of Caroline, Cheryl, Judy and Pauline Edwards, Wendy, Linda, Janet and Susan Mahon.

Relative of the Edwards, Worrell and Walker families.

Friend of Richard Skeete, Wayne Worrell, Lionel Ward, Rudy Headley, George Browne, Ian R. Griffith and many others.

The funeral of the late Glindon Alson Edwards leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Wednesday, July 13th, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. for The Chapel of Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 1:30 pm for the reading of tributes and fond remembrance before the start of the Service of Thanksgiving at 2:00 p.m.

The funeral will then proceed to Casuarina Lawns for the interment.  

Mourning colours are optional.

Relatives and friends can visit the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect on the memories of Glindon Edwards from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

All Covid-19 protocols will be in effect.
