Geraldine Genitha Foster nee Scantlebury, of  Diamond Corner, St. Peter, entered peacefully into rest on January 7th, 2022 at age 87.  

Wife of Vashti Foster.

Daughter of the late Ivy Thompson nee Scantlebury.

Cherished Mother of Anselma and Elvis Scantlebury, Ryan Foster, the late Ricardo and Baldwin Scantlebury.

Grandmother of  Renee, Akeila, Jalisa, Arielle, Jalissa, Tristan, Crystal and the late Ria Scantlebury.

Great-Grandmother of four.

Step Mother of Nancy Boyce-Nicholls and Hazian Boyce.

Cousin of Merna Goodridge, Valerie Scantlebury, the late Decourcey Hinds and many others.  

Mother-in-law of Lisa Scantlebury (M.T.W.).

Dearest friend of  Sylvia Phillips, Pat Hearst, Pauline Hall and many others.

Relative of the Dottin, Hinds, Scantlebury, Waterman and Williams families.

The funeral of the late Geraldine Genitha Foster nee Scantlebury leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Tuesday, February 8th at 1:00 p.m. for  St. Philip-the-Less Anglican Church, Boscobelle, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Graveside Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 3:00 p.m.  Live streaming can be viewed via the link https://watch.earlsfuneralhome.com/GeraldineFoster   

Relatives and friends can visit in the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect the memories of Geraldine Genitha Foster nee Scantlebury from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. 

All Covid-19 protocols will be in effect.
