Edwin DaCosta Holder, of Lower Carlton, St. James formerly of #82 School Road, Bakers, St. Peter. Assistant Manager of A1 Supermarket Carlton, entered peacefully into rest at age 65.

Son of the late Edward and Ina Francis (nee Holder).

Father of Kyra Holder

Brother of Shirley and Pauline Harper, Joyce Bynoe, Annley Peters, Colin Holder, Nicole Willams, Kim Holder-Babb, Carl and Goldwyn Francis, Monica Craigg and the late Melita Holder and Kaye Gogoh.

Nephew of Wendy and Elmina Headley, Joyce Burnett and the late Ernest, Calvin, Elsworth and David Headley.

Uncle of Tomilson and Andraa Bynoe, Erich, Karina and Gayrielle Harper, Mario, Miguel and Janna Holder, Dominick Alleyne, Dawnatie Holder, Deiadra Williams, Kyla Griffith, Dana Browne, Davida Frederick and Davianne Babb.

Great-Uncle of many.

Cousin of Stephen, Phillip, Kevin, Chemel, Nigel, Lecent, Andrew, Anthony, Nicholas and Michaelle Headley, Sandra Hinkson, Bryan Burnett, Gail Shillingford, Heather Rolston and Jackie Agard.

Alison Carter of Holetown Methodist Church, Choir, Organist and Congregation, the staff of Aone Supermarket, the Community High School Alumni and many others.

The funeral of the late Edwin DaCosta Holder leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. for

Sarah Ann Gill Memorial Methodist Church, Fairfield, Black Rock, St. Michael where relatives and friends are

asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 10:00 a.m.

The funeral will then proceed to St. James Cemetery for the interment.

Relatives and friends can visit the Holetown Methodist Church, Holetown, St. James to reflect the memories of Edwin DaCosta Holder from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19th, 2023.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.

    My sincerest condolences to the Holder and Harper families (especially Nicole, Colin and Mrs. Harper). May God grant you all comfort and peace, by His grace; during this time of sadness.

    Edwin was such a very pleasant person at school and was much the same when I met him by accident in a supermarket at Six Roads, St. Phillip on my last visit home many years ago. May he rest in peace.
