Earl Sylvester Cumberbatch, formerly of Pahokee, Florida; Benny Hall, St. Peter and Clearjoy Nursing Home entered peacefully into rest at age 85.  

Son of the late Carlotta and Leonard Cumberbatch.  Brother of Claudia Straker, Miriam and Winston Cumberbatch, the late Hilary Cumberbatch and Ena Belgrave.  Uncle of David and Ronald Straker, Patricia, Joseph and Emmerson Bowen, Ambra Joseph, Donna and Kenneth Belgrave Jnr., Dave and Charmaine Marshall.  Relative of the Headley, Cumberbatch, Scantlebury, Best and Ramsey families. Friend of Leslie Hinds, Balfour, Jim and the Carrie family (all of Pahokee, Florida), Violet Worrell, Tony, Joyce, Gaylene and Don Yearwood and many others.

The funeral of the late Earl Sylvester Cumberbatch leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Monday, October 21st at 2:00 p.m. for All Saints’ Anglican Church, Pleasant Hall, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the Interment at 4:00 p.m.  The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 1:30 p.m. on Monday
