Derick Livingstone Morris affectionately known as “Rocky” of Silver Hill Village, Christ Church and formerly of French Village, St. Peter. Sunrise: January 10th, 1966 –Sunset: January 14th, 2023.       Former Prison Officer 1 – Head of the Canine Unit of the Barbados Prison Service.

Son of Lorraine and the late Charles Morris.
Loving Companion of Simone Gill.
Father of Kairo Morris.
Stepfather of Akeem Small and Akobi Nurse.
Brother of Vernette and Denise Harris, Sgt. Raymond Morris of Barbados Police Service, Cynthia Morris, Barbara Phillips and the late Corey Morris.
Nephew of Isalene Roach, the late Olga Bourne and Thelma Harris.
Uncle of Sheritha, Carlos, Jamill, Ramon, Tia, Carol, Rashae, Aleeah, Aaron, Greg and Kemar.
Cousin of Pastor Aquinda Harris, Rosalind and Caroline Scantlebury, Dave, Owen and the late Trae Harris and many others.
Relative of the Harris, Roach, Scantlebury, Simmons and Nicholls families.
Friend of Sylvester Gill, Kenroy Holder, Pedro Walthrust, Jennifer Ward, McAnderson Wiltshire, Arlington Bourne, John Lythcott, Jacqueline Holder and many others.

The funeral leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Saturday, January 28th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. for The Chapel of Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Hall, St. Peter, where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving to Celebrate the life of the late Derick Livingstone Morris at 1:00 p.m.

The interment will follow immediately after to Casuarina Lawns, Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens for the burial.

Relatives and friends can visit in the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect the memories of the late Derick Livingstone Morris from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
