Denis Leroy Babb J.P., age 76, late of Josey Hill, St. Lucy entered into rest on December 21st, 2018. 

 

Loving and Devoted Husband of Lyndea Babb.

Son of the late Enid Babb and Desmond Collymore.

Father of Cindi L. Babb-Brewster and Dana Onyenakala (U.K.).

Grandfather of Alexander, Asher and Anaia Onyenakala.

Brother of Peggy Best, Joyce Birch and Andrew Collymore.

Cousin of Kelvin, Lyman, Darwin and the late Rudolph Bellamy.

Father-in-law of Dwayne Brewster and Chidi Onyenakala.

Brother-in-law of Ermie Dick, Marcia King and Leslie Small (all of the U.S.A.), Colin “Steve” King, Celia and Terry Small.

Relative of the Babb, Bellamy and Collymore families.

Friend of Darwin Cadogan, Godfrey Moore, St. Clair “Nicky” Roach, Rawle Barrow, Leonard Brome, Carlisle Greaves, Lamonte Addison, the patrons of John Moore Bar and many others.

The funeral of the late Denis Leroy Babb J.P. leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Saturday, January 5th, 2019 at 7:30 a.m. for St. Clement’s Anglican Church, Near Lowlands, St. Lucy where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 9:30 a.m.  The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.

Relatives and friends can visit in the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect the memories of Denis Leroy Babb J.P. from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 5:30 p.m. on Friday

    I know the passing of our friend Denis is painful for all who knew him. He was foremost a friend regardless of the different titles that he took on such as (husband, dad, brother, son, in law, etc). However, we are able to be comforted by means of God’s words at 2 Corinthians cahapter 1 verses 3 and 4…… Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,+ the Father of tender mercies+ and the God of all comfort,+ who comforts* us in all our trials*+ so that we may be able to comfort others+ in any sort of trial* with the comfort that we receive from God………
    John 5 verses 28 and 29 explains the opportunity that is opened to all of us in seeing our dead loved once again in the resurrection.Furthermore, Revelation 21 verses 3 and 4 promises that all the pain, sufferings and death that we experience will be no more. Be strong and continually throw your burdens on Jehovah,and he will sustain you. Never will he allow the righteous one to fall. Psalm 55:22, 1 Peter chapter 5 verses 6 and 7.tells us that he cares for you…..
