David McDonald Dacosta Nightengale, also known as Banner of  Shop Hill, St. Thomas entered peacefully into rest at  age 55.  Former Environmental Health Inspector at the Ministry of Health.

Son of the late Kenneth Grannum and Mary Brenhilda Nightengale. Father of Sharalette Nightengale. Grandfather of Aniyah Nightengale. Brother of Gladstone, Stephen, Donna, Margaret, Grace and Angela Nightengale (Canada). Uncle of Janai Jones, Alamar Lashley, Lisa Graham, Carl, Ricardo, Leondra, Jalicia, Adam, Gabriel and Amy-Lynn Nightengale (Canada). Cousin of Maxine, Winston, and many others.

Relative of the Nightengale, Grannum, Skeete and Gittens families. Friend of Lina Stasio, Paul Waithe, Jemmott and Robinson families

The funeral of the late David McDonald Dacosta Nightengale leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Saturday, November 20th at 8:00 a.m. for The Chapel of Westbury Cemetery, Westbury Road, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 10:00 a.m.  The organist is kindly asked to attend.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 5:30 p.m. on Friday

All COVID-19 protocols will be in effect, with a maximum of 25 persons allowed to be in attendance.
