Curtley Leronne Gilkes, of French Village, St. Peter and formerly Moore Hill, St. Peter, entered peacefully into rest at age 33 years.  Former Supervisor of Sandals Resort.

Son of Jan Gilkes (Ilaro Court).

Step-son of the late Anthony Scantlebury.

Grandson of Elsie Harris and the late Kerrick Harris.  

Brother of Katrina Gilkes (Port St. Charles), Shemone Gilkes (Island Villas), Lasaunta Gilkes (Tamarind Cove), Triston Gilkes (Sea Shed), Shaquille Gilkes (Barbados Water Authority) and Makaila Gilkes (Bean & Bagle); Donte Scantlebury (Lone Star) and

Cherish Scantlebury (Student of SJPI).

Nephew of Benson, Fredrick and Curtis Gilkes; Vernon, Ian, Gregory and Pedra Harris. 

Uncle of Ashante, Kiara, Kayla, Khiya and Seynova Gilkes; Kaliyah Roach, Kaylee Atkinson and Mahlia Fergusson.

Brother-in-law of Shameeka Gilkes (Staff Nurse of E.C. Polyclinic).

Relative of the Harris, Gilkes, Waterman and Boyce families.

Friend of Sherri Natram, Jason Sandford, Andre Edward, Janeen Hinds, The Staff of Sandals Resort Barbados and many others.

The funeral of the late Curtley Leronne Gilkes leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Monday, March 14th, 2022 at 8:00 a.m. for a Graveside service and interment at Casuarina Lawns, Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Hall, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 10:00 a.m.
