    Peter,
Shelley and I offer you our prayers and support on this very sad occasion. You may take comfort in the fact that CP’s legacy is marked with adherence to the principles of the highest order. From school (Coleridge 1948) where I met him, he exhibited immeasurable integrity, intention and initiative to which in later years his management of the post as Commissioner of Land Tax is testament. In my own sphere I was influenced by and the beneficiary of his sincere advice which redound to the benefit of those whom I served. Shelley and I are mindful of his attention to family, as we reflect on the contribution which both your lines of descent made to our society. May he rest in peace.
