Lt. Colonel Clinton George Burrowes J.P., O.D. late of Miller’s Road, Farm Road, St. Peter and Jamaica entered peacefully into rest at age 83.  Retired Training Principal, Territorial Secretary of Personnel, Property Secretary, Divisional Commander, Regional Disaster Co-ordinator of The Salvation Army, devout Bandsman and Soldier of the Speightstown Corps.

Husband of the late Lt. Colonel Linsdale Burrowes. 

Loving Brother of Russel Young (U.S.A.), Herbie Walker (U.K.) and the late Roy Walker (Canada).

Uncle of Cheryl Young, Junior and Sophia Walker.

Devoted Cousin of Marlene Nembhard, Beverley, Pearl, Marlene, David, Richard, Howard and Andrea Dixon (all of the U.S.A.).

Caring Brother-in-law of Myrtle Young and Verna Worrell (both of the U.S.A.), Beatrice Walker and Janet Moore (both of Canada),  Lt. Col. Eudora Louissaint, Velda Worrell,  Eulene Boyce, Jennifer Gibson, the late Ralph & Elvina Worrell and Evral Austin.

Special friend of Monica Clarke, Captain Dwayne Broome and John Griffith.

Friend of Allan Morris, Majors Sinous & Marie Theodore, Lt. Col. Franck Louissaint, Reverends Fequel & Myra LaPlante, members of The Salvation Army and many others.

The funeral of the late Lt. Colonel Clinton George Burrowes J.P., O.D. leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Saturday, March 20th at 8:00 a.m. for The Salvation Army Speightstown Corp, Church Street, Speightstown, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 10:00 a.m.  The funeral will then proceed to St. Peter’s Cemetery for the interment.  Live streaming can be viewed via https://inlovingmemory.online/ClintonBurrowes 

Relatives and friends can visit in the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect the memories of Lt. Colonel Clinton George Burrowes J.P., O.D. from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday

    RIP Cousin, Lt. Colonel Burrowes. Being away from us was a very difficult one and passing away this time is even harder. I can’t forget the impact he has on our family and the time we spent at The Territorial Training College. Sleep on, Cuz!❤😞
