Bishop – Burton Hamilton, also known as “Daddy Bish” of Diamond Corner, St. Peter, transitioned to his heavenly rest on June 22nd, 2023 at age 91.

Retired Engineer of Hayman’s and Portvale Sugar Factories.

Husband of retired Pastor Hilda Bishop (New Testament Church of God, Diamond Corner, St. Peter).

Father of Mary Bowen, Juanne Yearwood.

Adopted father of Cheryl knight, Anne Greaves, Ingrid Harris and Rickie Oneal.

Grandfather of Kenroy and Caroline Bowen, Cherise Yearwood and 3 others.

Great grandfather of four.

Adopted grandfather of Kerry Jordan.

Cousin of Colvin and Victor Bishop and Colin Jordan.

Father-in-law Oliver Bowen.

Brother-in-law of Daphne Ashby.

Relative of the families.

Friend of the members of the New Testament Church of God, Diamond Corner, St. Peter and the wide community.

The funeral of the late Burton Hamilton Bishop leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Monday, July 10th, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. for the New Testament Church of God Diamond Corner, Diamond Corner, St. Peter where relatives and friends areasked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 2:00 p.m.

The funeral will then proceed to All Saints’ Anglican Churchyard for the interment.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
