Anthony Decourcey Bowen, also known as “Nuchie or Sarge” of 32 Maycock’s Terrace, St. Lucy entered peacefully into rest at age 71.  

Husband of Janice Rowe-Bowen. 

Son of Marjorie Johnson and George Babb.

Step-son of Nevilla Johnson.

Step-father of Charlene King (U.K.).

Brother of Ann Griffith, Maureen “Ann” Babb (Rainbow Boutique), Colin “Andy” Babb, the late Yvette and Nigel Babb.

Nephew of Daphne Bowen, Clotelle Marville, Graceline and Arthur Bowen (U.S.A.), Peter and Bentley Haynes and Michael Hinds.

Uncle of Asha Small, Mikeal Griffith, Renaldo and Rico Matthias, Lisa Whitehead (U.S.A.), Chanice Greenidge and Latoya Francis.

Cousin of Ryan, Anthony and Keith Bowen (all of the U.S.A.), Roosevelt Bowen (Retired Officer R.B.P.F), Sargeant Stephen Bowen (R.B.P.F.), Constable Elsworth Clarke (R.B.P.F.),  Andy and Beverley Bowen.

The funeral of the late Anthony Decourcey Bowen leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Thursday, October 8th at 12 noon for The Chapel of Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Hall, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 2:00 p.m.  The cortege will then proceed to Casuarina Lawns for the interment.  Live streaming of the service can be viewed on the facebook page of Earl’s Funeral Home. 

Relatives and friends can visit in the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect the memories of Anthony Decourcey Bowen from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:30 a.m. on Thursday

All COVID-19 protocols will be in effect with 180 persons allowed to attend the service in the chapel.  The physical distancing of 3 feet will apply to persons at the graveside.
