Alvin Alphonso Mason, also known as “Chubbie or Louise” of Church View, St. John entered peacefully into rest at age 78.  

Husband of Debra Mason nee Saul. 

Son of the late Alvin Durant and Gertrude Moore nee Mason.

Father of Alban Mottley, Esther and Lesa Mason, Kimberly and Nicole Walcott and Susan Yarde nee Mason.

Grandfather of  15.

Great–Grandfather of 5.   

Brother of Desmond Durant, Maureen and Charles Moore and the late Waple Sealy nee Mason.

Uncle of many.

Father-in-law of David Yarde.

Relative of the Mason, Durant, Brathwaite, Blades, Howard, Holdipp, Cheltenham and Spooner families.

Friend of many.

The funeral of the late Alvin Alphonso Mason leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Friday, August 6th at 1:30 p.m. for St. John’s Parish Church, St. John where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Graveside Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 3:30 p.m.   

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 1:00 p.m. on Friday. 

All Covid-19 protocols will be in effect.
