Albertha Ercil Griffith better known as “Aunt Sue or Mama” of Alleynedale, St. Lucy entered peacefully into rest at age 83. Retired Worker of Alleynedale Plantation.

 Wife of the late Alfred Griffith.

Daughter of the late Millicent Bowen.

Mother of Tennyson Griffith (Readymix Ltd), Owen Griffith (B’dos Farms), Yvonne Griffith (formerly of Super Centre), Debra Griffith (U.S.A.), Marvalene Walcott (Sotheby’s Real Estate) and the late Michael Bowen.

Step-Mother of George Gill, Bevin and Douglas Austin.

Grandmother of Gregory Hope (Canada), Shawn Griffith (Arawak Cement), Tyson Griffith (99.3 FM), Sherwyn Jackman, Kevin Phillips (H.M.P. Dodds), Shamika Greaves (U.S. Navy), Jannelle Jackman, Norman Hope, Tito and Katrina Phillips, Nadia, Jamelia and Jalisa Griffith, Jadon Trotman and Devere Harris.

The funeral of the late Albertha Ercil Griffith leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Wednesday, May 17th at 11:30 a.m. for Bethany Baptist Church, Mile & A Quarter, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 1:30 p.m.  The cortege will then proceed to St. Lucy Parish Church, Near Nestfield, St. Lucy for a Second Service and the interment at 4:30 p.m.  The organist is kindly asked to attend.

Relatives and friends can visit in the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect the memories of Albertha Ercil Griffith from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
