Lloyd DaCosta Parris, also known as “Captain or Lylee” of Johnson Road, Workmans, St. George and #93 Mount Standfast, St. James entered peacefully into rest at age 89.  Retired Carpenter of Coral Reef Club, member of St. George Parish Church and the St. George Parish Church Men’s Fellowship.

Husband of Leila Parris.

Father of Jennifer and Yvette Headley, Wayne Parris, Keith Parris (U.K.) and Juliette Beckles (U.S.A.).

Stepfather of Monica Headley and the late Michael Headley.

Grandfather of Dr. Ashley Wiltshire and Jalisa Moore (U.S.A) and Daniel Ojo-Parris (U.K.).  Great Grandfather of Nova Moore (U.S.A.).

Cousin of Evie Haynes, Eunice Branwell and Cynthia Bryant (U.S.A.).

Father-in-law of Mark Beckles (U.S.A.) and Natalie Sealy.

Special friend of Brandon Moore (U.S.A.).

Relative of Norma Skeete and family, Yvonne Chandler and the Smith family of Trinidad. The funeral of the late Lloyd DaCosta Parris leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Tuesday, September 4th at 7:30 a.m. for St. George Parish Church, The Glebe,  St. George where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the Interment at 9:30 a.m.  The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 4:30 p.m. on Monday
