Avonda Linette Devonish nee Benn, affectionately known as “Mary”, of Brooklyn New York and formerly of Shorey Village, St.Andrew entered peacefully into rest at age 60 on Sunday 11 May, 2025.
Former student of the Alleyne School.
Devoted Wife of Andre Devonish (Ministry of Agriculture).
Daughter of Carmeta Morris and the late Carl Rudolph Benn.
Step-daughter of the late Kermit Morris.
Beloved Mother of Eria “Natie” Devonish.
Cherished Sister of Yolanda Alexis, John Benn, Dermont Bowen and Mervin Jones
Niece of Joyce Shorey.
Aunt of Amanda “Mandi” Aulder, Allan Aulder, Claire Bowen and Amanda Bowen.

The funeral of the late Avonda Linette Devonish nee Benn leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy on Thursday May 29, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. for St. Andrews Parish Church, Walkers, St. Andrew where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 3:00 p.m.
The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.
