Windie Patricia Burnett, of Bishops Road, St. Lucy entered peacefully into rest at age 64.  Former employee of Atlantic Marketing Company.

Daughter of Esme Burnett and the late Everett Corbin. Mother of Juann Burnett.  Grandmother of Jurrell Codrington.  Partner of Ian Goodridge (C.O. Williams Co. Ltd.).  Sister of Wayne Burnett (Meridian Caribbean Inc.), Vernon, Moreen, Neville, Mark, John, Sylvia (Transport Board), Evelyn, Brenda and Michael.  Niece of Hazel Ward, Ophelia Gill, Christophere Burnett, Trevor Burnett and Velma Burnett (U.K.).  Aunt of Daniqua, Davanney, Nemiah, Nicole, Gregory, Rose, Thea, Jaquan and Jada Burnett, Ashley and Ashan Boyce and 13 others.  Great–Aunt of Ishon and Rashon Hurley, Corey, Ronneicia and Jacobi Burnett, Amari Holligan and Ramari Boyce and 7 others.  Cousin of Bentley and Anthyea Burnett, Sonia Burnett and Eglah Boyce (both of the U.S.A.), Jeffery Johnson, Juan Springer, Colen Boyce and many others. Relative of the Burnett, Corbin, Ward, Boyce, Springer, Baker, Phillips, Austin and Yearwood families. Friend of Andrea Payne, Waple Collymore, David Phillips, Waple Scantlebury, Daphne Boyce, Musa Chothia, Muhammad Chathia, Barbara-Ann Greaves, Angela Murphy, Leona Hinds and many others too numerous to mention.

The funeral of the late Windie Patricia Burnett leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Thursday, December 16th at 1:45 p.m. for St. Clement’s Anglican Church, Near Lowlands, St. Lucy where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 3:45 p.m.   The organist is kindly asked to attend. Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 1:15 p.m. on Thursday. 

All COVID-19 protocols will be in effect, with a maximum of 25 persons allowed to be in attendance.

    I was saddened to hear the news of Windie’s passing, at such a young age. We were neighbors, during my childhood years, at Cave Hill, St. Lucy.
