Violet Eurene Rock, formerly of St. Simons, St. Andrew and Bishop’s Road, St. Lucy entered peacefully into rest at age 88.

Retired Long-Serving Employee of the Schools Meals Department.

Wife of the late Cecil Rock.

Mother of Henderson Springer (Head of Coaching and High Performance at the BCA) and Dave Rock (Member of the Barbados Police Service).

Grandmother of Kristen (UWI) and Joshua Rock (St. Michael School).

Sister of Gwendolyn Cumberbatch and the late Victor Cumberbatch.

Step-Sister of Eugene Roach, the late Vastine Sobers and Phillip Stevenson.

Aunt of Ronald Nicholls, Joycelyn, Anthony and Frank Cumberbatch, June Yearwood, Michael, Judy and Carl Cumberbatch.

Mother-in-law of Karen Springer and Sally Ann Crichlow-Rock.

Special “Tantie” of Denise Cole (UK), Michael Roach, Janet and Barbara-Ann Greaves, Diane Roach and the late Emiline Sobers.

The funeral of the late Violet Rock leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy on St. Saturday August 10th, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. for Clements Anglican Church, Lowlands, St. Lucy where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 10:00 a.m.

The organist and choir is are kindly asked to attend.
