Viola Iona Greaves, also known as “Vie” of Clinketts Gardens, St. Lucy and formerly of Checker Hall, St. Lucy entered peacefully into rest at age 98.  

Daughter of the late Ethel Greaves and Samuel Archer.

Mother of Colleen Chandler (formerly of the Child Care Board), Wordsworth Greaves (U.K.), Corene Connell (Church of God Day Care), Deborah Stovall (U.S.A.) and Leverett Stuart (Meridian Caribbean Windows  Inc. & formerly of Courts B’dos Ltd.)

Grandmother of  Peter Chandler (U.S.A.), Jamal Chandler, Linda Lewis, Adrian and Richard Greaves (U.K.), Carol Busby, Kim, Kerry and Shad Greaves, Tanya Wright, Ajana Powlett and Destinee Chandler (all of the U.S.A.), Toni Hinds (Unique Hair Styles), Kori Connell and Mical Stuart (Courts B’dos Ltd).

The funeral of the late Viola Iona Greaves leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Tuesday, September 10^th at 11:45 a.m. for Fustic Wesleyan Holiness Church, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 1:45 p.m.  The cortege will then proceed to St. Lucy’s Parish Church, Near Nestfield, St. Lucy for a second service and the interment at 4:00 p.m.  The organist is kindly asked to attend.

Relatives and friends can visit in the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect the memories of Viola Iona Greaves from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday.
