Vida Carmen Edghill of 3rd Ave. Lower Carlton, St. James entered peacefully into rest at age 75.  

Wife of Winston “Ken” Edghill (Owner and Driver of Z 1200).  Mother of Janice (Courts B’dos Ltd) and Shaunda Cumberbatch and the late Shelly-Ann Blackman. Stepmother of Cathy-Ann Alleyne and Karen Waterman. Grandmother of Jamar, Carissa and Chareece Alleyne.  Great Grandmother of Nico Alleyne and 6 others.  Sister of the late Loreta Cumberbatch and Beryl Prescod.  Aunt of Jody Joseph, Jeanie Nassau and the late Cynthia and Robert Cumberbatch.  Cousin of Malcolm and Philip Cumberbatch.  Daughter-in-law of the late Neta and Fredrick Edghill. Sister-in-law of Hollda, Eula, Mary, Sharon, Anthony, Rudy, the Rev. Delbert Edghill and the late Joe Edghill.  Relative of the Edghill and Cumberbatch families. Friend of Angela Blyden, Rosie Best, Marjorie, Maureen and the St. Albans Church Choir.

The funeral of the late Vida Carmen Edghill leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Tuesday, December 10th at 12:00 noon for St. Albans Anglican Church, Lower Carlton, St. James where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 2:00 p.m.  The funeral will then proceed to St. James Cemetery for the interment.  The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
