Victor Theophilus Shorey of 257, 3rd Avenue, Heywoods Park St Peter, Formerly of Illford Essex UK entered peacefully into rest at  age 78. A long serving, highly respected, senior postal worker of Essex Royal Mail UK.

Son of  the late Theophilus and Gertrude Shorey.

Father of Melanie Yearwood (UK).

Grandfather of Kendra, Darcen, Marcel and Myliah. 

Great grandfather of three of the UK.

Brother of Lucille Shorey- Hall, Eugene Bourne, Malcolm Murphy the late Deighton Benn, St.Elmo Bourne and Carol Benn. 

Uncle of John, Anthony, Danny, Nigel and Dermot Benn all of the UK.

Special friend of  Noreen and Omar Doughlin, Omel Collymore, David and Wendy Cox and Mortimer Springer. 

Relative of the Benn and Scantlebury families.

The funeral of the late Victor Theophilus Shorey  leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on  Wednesday June 30th at 12:00 noon  for St. Peter’s Parish Church, Church Street, Speightstown, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving 2:00 p.m.  The cortege will then proceed to Casuarina Lawns, Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Hall, St. Peter for the interment.  Live streaming can be viewed via https://inlovingmemory.online/VictorShorey .  The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:30 a.m.on Wednesday

    So sad to hear of Vics passing, worked with the big man for a number of years at the Ilford post office. Very gentle for a big man, a pleasure to work with. You’ll be missed my friend. R.I.P from your honky friend.
