Vera Violet Griffith affectionately known as ‘Violet’ of Farm Road, St. Peter entered peacefully into rest at age 89.  Former worker of Elmer’s Snackette.

Daughter of the late Etheline Griffith and Julien Inniss.  Sister of Abby Skeete.  Aunt of Winston, Marita, Wendy, Jackie, Noel, Cardinal, Lyman and David Griffith, Errol Green, Jenny Harewood (U.K.), Marceline Henry, Leverette Graham (U.S.A.) and Mark Skeete.  Great Aunt of Robert and Lehra Griffith, Diana Linton, Denis Rock, Davison Corbin, Jason Waithe and Christopher Rock.  Cousin of Eudene, Maggie and Sheila Foster, Sylvia Harvey, Leroy Lewis and Tyrone Murray.  Sister-in-law of Ula Griffith.  Relative of the Blackman, Foster and Jackman families. Friend of Ure Scott (U.S.A.), Patrick Scott, the Headley Family, Keith Mascoll, Jasmine Hinds, Miss Worrell and Marva Medford.

The funeral of the late Vera Violet Griffith leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Saturday, June 9th at 12:00 noon for Christ is the Answer Family Church, Battaleys, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 2:00 p.m.  The funeral will then proceed to St. Peter’s Cemetery for the interment.

Relatives and friends can visit in the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect the memories of Vera Violet Griffith from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
