Ulric Legay Corbin J.P.,  affectionately known as “Fireman or Prescod” late of ‘The Cottage’, Yearwood Road, Mount Standfast, St. James and formerly of Ashton Hall, St. Peter entered peacefully into rest at age 73.  Retired Acting Station Officer of the Barbados Fire Service.

 Husband of Collene Worrell-Corbin.

Son of the late Reginald Prescod and Sylvia Moore.

Father of Margaret King, Annette Worrell-Corbin and the late Paula Worrell-Corbin.

Grandfather of  Dwayne, Damian and Sherise Beckles, Allyssa Forde and Thea Lorde.

Great Grandfather of 2.

Brother of Emmerson and Wendy Corbin.

Uncle of Paul and Pierre Bowen (both of the U.S.A.) and Janene Gibson.

Father-in-law of Randolph Lorde.

Relative of the Prescod family of St. James, the Bannister and Corbin families of Ashton Hall.

Friend of Velmore Cadogan, Victor Bishop, Everton Barker, Andrew Davis, George Dalrymple, Glen Harewood, Denton Foster, Delwin Boyce, Otheneil Griffith, the Friends Together Forever Group and many others.

The funeral of the late Ulric Legay Corbin leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Friday, August 31st at 8:00 a.m. for St. James Parish Church, Church Point, St. James where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 10:00 a.m.  The cortege will then proceed to St. James Cemetery for the interment.  The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.

The body of the late Ulric Legay Corbin will repose for viewing at the Arch Hall Fire Station, Arch Hall, St. James from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m on Thursday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
