Sybil Ione Best, also known as “Auntie” of #11 Browne’s Avenue, Bayville, St. Michael entered peacefully into rest at age 98.

Wife of the late Stafford Best.

Daughter of the late Lilian and Parker Harris.

Sister of Miriam Harris and the late Hugh, Rudolph and Mildred Harris.

Aunt of Michael Harris, Mildred Hinkson (USA), Rommel Maycock (Canada), Sandra, David (USA) and Edward Williams, Kerry and Marcia Harris, Rodney Slocombe (All 3 of UK) and many others.

Great Aunt of Jeantil and Tia Harris, Beverley Hinkson, Janeille Evelyn, Sean and Andrew Hinkson (USA) and many others.

Cousin of Coreen Jones and Coral Pierre (USA).

Sister-in-law of Maureen Harris (UK).

Niece-in-law of Patricia Thompson-Harris.

The funeral of the late Sybil Ione Best leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy on Thursday July 18th, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. for James Street Methodist Church, James Street, Bridgetown, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 10:00 a.m.

The funeral will then proceed to Westbury Cemetery for the interment.

The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Thursday.
