Stewart Victor Sobers of Brooklyn, N.Y. and formerly of Crab Hill, St. Lucy entered  into rest at age 73.

Husband of the late Gwendolyn Babb-Sobers.

Son of the late Myra Archer and Clyde Sobers.

Father of Don Husbands, Beverley Sobers-Maynard, Pamela, Andrea and Rosemary Sobers, Debbie Greenidge and Norman Corbin.

Grandfather of five.

Brother of Gerald, Wade, Carl (U.S.A.), Shirley, Celia Sobers and John Sobers (Retired Sargeant 823, Royal Barbados Police Force).

Uncle of many.

Father-in-law of Simon Maynard.

Brother-in-law of Victor Babb.

Relative of the Archer, Greaves, Norville and Carrington families.

The funeral of the late Stewart Victor Sobers leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Tuesday, November 26th at 1:45 p.m. for St. Lucy’s Parish Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the Interment at 3:45 p.m.

The organist is kindly asked to attend.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
