Sheila Uphemia Dowridge, of formerly of Robinson Close, St. Stephen’s Hill, St. Michael and the U.S.A.,  entered peacefully into rest at age 77.  

Daughter of the late Cuthbert Crichlow and Eugene Wilson.

Mother of Barbara Ozue, Jacqueline Greene, Wayne and Wilson Dowridge.

Grandmother of Keisha and Kharis Dowridge, Wilson Dowridge Jnr., Grantley Greene Jnr., Jamal, Jabarry and Jaleysa Greene, David and Alexis Ozue. 

Great–Grandmother of Syria Dowridge.  

Sister of Carson, Sylverton, Chesterfield, William, Merlene and Whitfield Dowridge, Cuthbert Crichlow Jnr., Kenneth, Dixon, David, Deborah and Eudora Crichlow, Cynthia Catlyn and Ruthann King.

Niece of Eudora Wilkinson, Winston and Harold Crichlow.

Aunt of Lana Dowridge.

Cousin of Vandeen Foster, Hyacinth Howard and Lionel Harewood.

Mother-in-law of Samuel Ozue.

Friend of Lester Harris, Maurine King, Shirley Shepherd, Angela Cave, Clement Broome, Rushelle Williams and the Wiltshire family.

The funeral of the late Sheila Euphemia Dowridge leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Friday, January 28th at 1:00 p.m. for St. Matthews Anglican Church, Jackmans, St. Michael where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 3:00 p.m.  The organist is kindly asked to attend.  Live streaming can be viewed via the link https://watch.earlsfuneralhome.com/SheilaDowridge 

The body of the late Sheila Uphemia Dowridge will repose for viewing in the chapel of Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 12:30 p.m. on Friday. 

All Covid-19 protocols will be in effect.
