Sheila Silvesteen Sandiford aged 80, affectionately known as “Brown Sugar”, late of Weston, St. James.  Former member of the Church of  God, the Garden, St. James. Former nurse of the Queen Elizabeth and Geriatric Hospitals.  Entered peacefully into rest on Monday, July 29th, 2019.

 

Daughter of the late Berkley and Ivan Sandiford.

Devoted Mother of Patrick Sandiford (Archives Department) and Angela Sandiford (Rural Development Commision).

Devoted Grandmother of Kelly-Ann Sandiford (Harris Paints)

Devoted Great Grandmother of Oralee and Kaniel Cumberbatch.

Sister of Joyce and Glenville Sandiford and the late Doreen Girline Griffith nee Prescod, Ewald and Arthur Sandiford.

Aunt of Tyron Sandiford (Velvet Taxi Inc.) Silvesteen Rock (Emera) Glenville Ifill (USA) Cheryl Thomas (USA) Christine Francis, Michael and Michelle Lewis, Donnie Vaughn and Margaret Collymore.

Great Aunt of many.

Relative of the Prescod, O’neale, Reece, welch, Francis and Beckles families.

Friend of Roy Baker, Ulric Rock,Owen Cumberbatch, the Weston Tent Posse and the Church of God family.

 

The funeral of the late Sheila Silvesteen Sandiford leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Thursday, August 8th ,2019, 12:00 noon for The Community Church of God, the Gardens, Reid’s Road,  the Garden, St. James where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 2:00 p.m.  The cortege will then proceed to St. James Cemetery for the interment.

Relatives and Friends can visit in the chapel of Earls Funeral Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect the memories of Sheila Silvesteen Sandiford from 4:00 p.m. to  6:00 p.m on Wednesday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Mourning colours are optional.
