Rufus Rudolph Edwards  of Coconut Hall, St. Lucy and formerly of Black Bess, St. Peter entered peacefully into rest at age 83.  

Retired Employee of The School Meals Department.

Companion of Margaret Griffith.

Son of the late Gerald and Una Edwards.

Father of Maxine Sandiford, Catherine Richards, Joy-Ann Watson, Marjorie and Melanie Griffith.

Grandfather of Rochelle, Alisha, Aaliyah, Ashleigh, Malique, Makyla, Myesha, Makhail, Rashawn Samantha, Shanice and Shamya.

Great-grandfather of three.

Brother of the late Marion Browne and Leroy Ramsey.

Uncle of  Overton, Marcia, Carson, Sherrold, Lena and many others.

Great- Uncle of many.

Cousin of Avil, Monica, Carson, Grantley, Andrew, Glen, Phenelle, Orlinda, Nigel and many others.

Father-in-law of Paul Hood.

Brother-in-law of Tola, Douglas, Sepleyne, Edward and the late Davis Griffith and Hugh Browne.

Relative of the Edwards, Ramsey, Browne, Goodman, Griffith and Alleyne families.

The funeral of the late Rufus Rudolph Edwards leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy on Friday January 17th at 12:00 noon for The Chapel of Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Hall, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 2:00 p.m.

The funeral will then proceed to Casuarina Lawns, Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens for the interment.

The organist is kindly asked to attend.
