Roy Washworth Healis of Arcadia Senior Citizens Home, Water Hall, Well House, St. Philip and formerly of Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy entered peacefully into rest at age 101.

 

Husband of Adessa Healis.

Son of the late Geneva Ellis and Nathanial Broomes.

Father of Earl Greaves (Barbados), Marcia Lowe, Joan Ifill-Walters, Carleen Bowen, Stanton and Maureen Healis, Gordon Ifill and Rosalind Healis (all of the U.S.A.).

Step-father of Velda Ifill-Williams (Canada).

Grandfather of 26.

Great Grandfather of 36.

Great-Great Grandfather of 7.

Special thanks to Mrs. Trotman and the Staff of Arcadia Senior Citizens Home, Janet Challenor, other friends and family that he held near and dear to his heart.

The funeral of the late Roy Washworth Healis leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Wednesday, January 24th at 1:30 p.m. for St. Lucy Parish Church, Near Nestfield, St. Lucy where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the Interment at 3:30 p.m.  The organist is kindly asked to attend.

Relatives and friends can visit in the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect the memories of Roy Washworth Healis from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
