Gibbs – Rita Claudine, of Welchtown, St. Peter entered peacefully into rest at age 98.  

Daughter of the late Ada Gibbs. Sister of Wycliffe Gilkes (U.K) and the late Mary Dover. Beloved Aunt of Marcia Best and Ovid Gibbs (Retired Principals), Owen Holder (Comptroller of Customs),  Margaret Jackman and Judith Phillips (of the U.S.A), Edgar Holder (U.K.) and Juel Holder. Great–Aunt of Vicky Phillips and 14 others. Great-Great Aunt of 20. Cousin of Ronald Hewitt (Retired Manager of BNOC), Eugene Cumberbatch and Wilma Barrow. 

Relative of the Barrow, Gilkes, Burgess and Hewitt families. Friend of Linda and Dorothy Scantlebury, Ronda Gibbons and many others.

The funeral of the late Rita Claudine Gibbs leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Tuesday, October 18th, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. for St. Philip-the-Less Anglican Church, Boscobelle, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 4:00 p.m.

 The Organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.

The body will repose for viewing at Glad Tidings United Holy Church of America, Moore Hill, St. Peter to reflect on the memories of Rita Claudine Gibbs from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 17th, 2022.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
