Reverend Gloria Patricia Forde nee Hollingsworth, of 17 Highwood Park, Highland, St. Michael, Barbados and formerly of 173 Roxanne Burnham Gardens, Guyana entered peacefully into rest at age 71 on August 5th, 2024.

Long Standing and Exemplary Minister in the Wesleyan Holiness Churches, Barbados District.

Wife of Olvin Forde.

Daughter of the late Iris Patterson Collins-Hollingsworth and Ivan Trotman.

Foster Mother of Jared Collymore.

Sister of Faye Hollingsworth, Paul, Joel, Lyndry and Michael Trotman, the late Joan Wilson, Compton and Colin Trotman.

Aunt of Dawn Chandler, Magin and David Trotman, Sonia Greenidge, Rawle and Onica Wilson, Deon, Quacy Trotman, Colin Trotman Jr., Devon, Kevon, Paul, Shemar, Anthea, Kean, Joel, Joshua, Kendra, Kayla, Lanessa, Israel, Cherith and Destiny Trotman, Shonelle Chase-Wishart, Trae and Zekeya Hurley, Kirk and Steve Murray, Jamal Forde, Tichina and Voshon Herbert, Dave and Corey Boyce and the late Kyle Chase.

Cousin of Eslyn More, Joslyn Alexander, Maitlan and Barbara Sampson, Juliet Powdar, Lana Cadogan, the late Pamela Thevenin and Haydock Sampson.

Sister-in-law of Carol, Eartha, Dorrette and June Trotman, Phatricia Ford, Everton and Rawle Forde, Elma Murray, Felecia Hurley and Antoinette Herbert.

The funeral of the late Rev. Gloria Patricia Forde leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy on Tuesday August 20th, 2024 at 12 noon for the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Hall, St. Peter where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 2:00 p.m.

Relatives and friends can visit the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect on the memories of Rev. Gloria Patricia Forde from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
