Philip Eugordon Gilkes, age 53, of #47 Bridgefield Development, St. Thomas formerly of Dunscombe, St. Thomas.  Medical Physicist of Queen Elizabeth Hospital.  Member of the Cancer Society and the I.A.E.A. (International Atomic Energy Agency).

 

Husband of Kathy Paula Gilkes.

Father of Raphael and Dinari Gilkes.

Brother of Elton and Clarence Greaves, Arthur, Carl, Halsey, Arnold, Philmore and Feliston Gilkes (Ag. Station Sargeant R.B.P.F.), Muriel Carrington, Carmel Downes, Rev. Vera Waithe, Josilyn Gilkes and Arnetha Rock (Canada).

The funeral of the late Philip Eugordon Gilkes leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort St. Lucy, on Saturday, April 14th at 8:00 a.m. for Sharon Moravian Church, Sharon, St. Thomas where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the burial at 10:00a.m.  The organist is kindly asked to attend.

The body of the late Philip Eugordon Gilkes will repose for viewing at the Westmoreland Nazarene Church, Westmoreland, St. James from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

    Although Philip and I lost touch I still considered him a dear friend and it was always nice when we met up and got to chat for a bit.
