Noel DaCosta Greene, better known as “PG” of Greaves Road, Westmoreland, St. James and formerly of Springhead, St. James entered peacefully into rest at age 86. 

Former Employee of the Ministry of Transport and Works (MTW).

Companion of Jean Scantlebury.

Son of the late Nathaniel and Elestress Greene.

Father of Yvette Blackett, Debrah Kellman, Debbie and Anderson Scantlebury.

Adoptive Father of Erica Osbourne.

Grandfather of Tyra Scantlebury.

Brother of Herbert Greene, the late Kenneth, Germaine and Glendora Greene, Sylvia Smith and six others.

Uncle of Rawle, David, Wilma, Oswald, Marson and George Smith, Elaine Taylor, Christopher and Nola Bryant, Lucile Greenidge, Claudette Clarke, Elvina and many others.

Great- Uncle of Rico Smith, Gregory Adams, Martin Greenidge and many others.

Father-in-law of Shawn Kellman.

Relative ofthe Greene, Smith, Bryant, Wellington, Clarke, Thorne and Walker families and others.

Friend of Leroy “Tex” Worrell, Anthea Phillips, Sherma Yarde, the late Leroy “Paulette” Worrell and many others.

The funeral of the late Noel DaCosta Greene leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy on Saturday December 7th, 2024 at 12 noon for St. Silas Anglican Church, Water Hall, St. James where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 2:00 p.m.

The funeral will then proceed to St. James Cemetery for the interment.

The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.
