Muriel Carlotta Blackman, also known as “Joanie” of Belleplaine Housing Area, St. Andrew,  entered peacefully into rest at age 70.  

Wife of the late Dunston Blackman. 

Daughter of the late Gloria Griffith.

Mother of Richard, Cheryl, Delores, Stacey and the late Marc Griffith.

Grandmother of  7.

Sister of Julene, Harry, Barbara, Beverly, Grantley and the late Stephanie Griffith.

Aunt of many.

Great–Aunt of many.

Friend of many.

The funeral of the late Muriel Carlotta Blackman leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Wednesday, January 5th at 8:00 a.m. for St. Andrew’s Parish Church, Walkers, St. Andrew where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Graveside Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 10:00 a.m.    Live streaming can be viewed via the link https://watch.earlsfuneralhome.com/MurielBlackman

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. 

All Covid-19 protocols will be in effect, with a maximum of 25 persons allowed to be in attendance.
