Mr. Daryll Rudolph Jordan, of Mile And A Quarter, St. Peter entered peacefully into rest at the age of 85  years. Retired Headmaster of Daryll Jordan Secondary School (1971 – 1996), and lifelong educator.

Husband of the late Editha Jordan nee Cox.

Son of the late Ivy Jordan and Elton Austin.

Father of Valerie Cox, D. Ricardo and Kathyann Jordan.

Grandfather of  Shonette Turney and Shailah Headley.

Great-Grandfather of Shaniah Graham, Nathaneal and Nanad Turney.

Brother of Joyce Lovell & Ena Jordan, the late Vincent, Jacqueline and Euclid Jordan, and June Harvey nee Jordan.

Uncle of Sherril, Patrick, Karen, Mona, Sean and Joy Lovell; Kirk, Clint and Martin Harvey; Shane and Lana Callender, Dave Jordan and the late Corie Jordan.

Great Uncle of Twelve

Cousin of Eric Harris, Clyde and Joan Austin, Octavia Toppin and several others.

Godfather of many.

Friend and Mentor of too many to mention.

Relative of the Jordan, Austin, Callender, Harris, Harvey, Lovell and Toppin families of Barbados and the USA.

Contemporary and Compatriot of Sir Lloyd Esrkine Sandiford, Velmo Cadogan, Othneil Griffith, Lawrence Nurse, Andrew Lewis, the late Evelyn Greaves and Ethelbert Thomas, and numerous others.

Lifelong church member; ardent classic music and horticulture aficionado.

The funeral of the late Mr. Daryll Rudolph Jordan leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Thursday April 29that 12:00 p.m. for All Saints’ Anglican Church, Pleasant Hall, St. Peter  where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving and the interment at 4:00p.m.

The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.

The body of the late Daryll Rudolph Jordan will repose in the Ifill and Phillip Auditoriun of the Daryll Jordan Secondary School, Trents, St. Lucy, where relatives and friends can visit to reflect the memories and pay tribute from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm on Monday April 26th 2021.

Live Streaming of special tributes by invited guests only will take place from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:30 a.m. on Thursday April 29th.

    Condolences to the family of the late Daryll Jordan, It’s very sad that Mile and Quarter has lost great and man.
    He was an ardent supporter of many institutions and a faithful member of All Saints church where he took an active part. I was a young choir boy at All Saints when he was a senior member of the choir, he was a perfect gentleman. He will be missed by all who knew and was in contact with.
    May he rest in in Peace and Rise in Glory in Jesus Name we Pray .Amen.
