Michael Leon Hope of E 49th Street, Brooklyn, NY and formerly of Holder’s Hill, St. James entered peacefully into rest at age 79. Member of Epiphany Lodge No. 121.
Husband of Phyllis Greenidge-Hope.
Son of the late Dorothy Hope-Gibbs and Arnold Bowen.
Father of Wendy Edwards, Desmond Haynes, Okeitha Jemmott, Adrian Forde, Sophia Yearwood, Raymond, Michael and Wade Mascoll and the late Victor Forde.
Grandfather of Latisha Edwards, Tonya Jemmott, Christopher Yearwood, Kelson Lewis, Tricia Inniss, Azalia, Rayanna, Tyrek and Jaden Mascoll, Dario, Jamila and Tunda Haynes, Erin, Makala and Adriana Raphael and the late William Edwards Jnr.
Great Grandfather of Shaquan Edwards, Daio Haynes, Ta-shon Inniss, Taraji Jemmott, Carla and Zakarra Lewis.

The funeral of the late Michael Leon Hope leaves Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy, on Saturday, June 17th at 12:00 noon for St. John the Baptist Church, Thorpes, St. James where relatives and friends are asked to meet for the Service of Thanksgiving at 2:00 p.m. The cortege will then proceed to St. James Cemetery for the interment. The organist and choir are kindly asked to attend.
Relatives and friends can visit in the chapel of Earl’s Funeral Home, Half Moon Fort, St. Lucy to reflect the memories of Michael Leon Hope from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
Floral tributes may be sent to Earl’s Funeral Home no later than 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
